Potentially difficult to diagnose, Parkinson’s Disease affects approximately 60,000 people in the United States each year.

Parkinson’s Disease is a progressive neuromuscular disorder that results in the loss of muscle function, balance and coordination.  While there is no cure for Parkinson’s Disease, there are medications, therapies and surgical treatment options to help slow the progression of this disease and maintain quality of life.

To learn more about Parkinson’s Disease, please join neurologist Even F. Wang, M.D., and the National Parkinson Foundation on Tuesday, August 15, at 6:00 p.m., in the LMH first floor conference rooms, located at 1320 West Main Street in Newark.  The program is free; however, space is limited and registration is required.  To register, please visit or call (220) 564-2527
