Wallis Promoted at LMHS Licking Memorial Health Systems is pleased to announce the promotion of Greg Wallis, M.H.A., B.S.N., R.N., to Vice President Physician Practices.  In his new role, Greg oversees more than 110 Licking Memorial Health Professionals providers and their practices.

Greg joined Licking Memorial Hospital (LMH) in 1997 as a nursing attendant before accepting subsequent positions as a scrub technician and staff nurse in the Surgery Department, patient care manager for the Operating Room, Director of Surgery, and Assistant Vice President Outpatient Services.  He received an associate’s degree in nursing at Central Ohio Technical College, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in hospital administration from Ohio University.   

The Newark Advocate recently named Greg to its 20 Under 40 list.  In addition, he received the LMHS Manager of the Year Award in 2011.

Greg is a member of the Ohio Organization of Nurse Executives and the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses.  He also is a board member for both the Newark Kiwanis and the Licking County Chapter of the American Red Cross, and a member of First Baptist Church in Heath.  Greg and his wife, Carrie, reside in Heath and have two daughters, Brooklyn and Avery.
