In 1989, the
Licking Memorial Hospital Development Council presented the first Lifetime
Achievement Award. This special recognition was created to honor an individual from
the community whose vision, inspiration and leadership has touched and enriched
many lives. Each year the Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to an individual
who has not only volunteered time for the betterment of the community but also helped
fulfill the Licking Memorial Health Systems’ mission to “improve the health of the
community.”
The Building a Healthier Community Award was first presented in 2005 during the
Lifetime Achievement Reception and the tradition continues. Recipients of this award
are recognized for their execution of an initiative that helps to further the Hospital’s
mission by improving the health of the Licking County community.
