Welcome to Licking Memorial Otolaryngology, located at 88 McMillen Drive in Newark, Ohio.  Our professional staff is looking forward to providing medical care for you and your family.

The Otolaryngology office is part of Licking Memorial Health Professionals, a group of more than 100 health care professionals dedicated to improving the health of the community.

Otolaryngology is a specialty which focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the ears, nose and throat.  Our specialized training and experience allows us to treat both acute and chronic illnesses.  We also focus our efforts on preventive medicine.

Licking Memorial Otolaryngology provides a wide range of services, including office-based and hospital care. Additionally, certified clinical audiologists provide a full range of audiological services, including complete hearing evaluations for patients, ages 6 months and older, and hearing aid dispensing.

Physicians

	Kenneth C. Parker, M.D., received his Medical Degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He completed a general surgery internship and an otolaryngology, head and neck surgery residency at the University of Louisville College of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky.  Dr. Parker is board certified in otolaryngology.
	Shaun R. Roof, D.O., received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri.  He completed a rotating surgical internship at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, and an otorhinolaryngology/facial plastic surgery residency in head and neck surgery at Doctors Hospital in Columbus and one year through Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.  Dr. Roof is board certified in otolaryngology, and facial plastic surgery by the American Osteopathic Boards of Ophthalmology/Otolaryngology.
	Cheryl Barker, Au.D., CCC-A,  is a licensed and certified clinical audiologist and performs diagnostic audiology services.  She earned a Doctor of audiology degree and has a certificate of clinical competence in audiology.
	Holly Toole, M.A., CCC-A, earned an associate’s degree in child development at Muskingum Technical College in Zanesville, Ohio, and a bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing science and a master’s degree in audiology, both at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She is a certified audiologist.
