The best defense against cancer is prevention and early detection.  Licking Memorial Health Systems (LMHS) is pleased to present Defeating Cancer: A Community Education Event for community members interested in learning more about cancer and prevention.  Join us on Tuesday, November 7, in the Licking Memorial Hospital (LMH) First Floor Conference Rooms.
 
Informational tables with updates on cancer risks, nutrition, tobacco cessation, screening recommendations, and important resources will be available beginning at 5:30 p.m.  At 6:00 p.m., D’Anna Mullins, M.D., Ph.D., of Licking Memorial Hematology/Oncology, will speak on the topic of lung cancer.  Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in Licking County and Ohio.
