Development Council
The Licking Memorial Hospital (LMH) Development Council was established in 1987, to increase charitable giving to LMH and to enhance and promote meaningful community relations for the Hospital. Approximately 80 community volunteers with diverse backgrounds and expertise serve on Development Council committees. They are interested in LMH and committed to its mission of Improving the Health of the Community.

The Annual Support Committee is responsible for the philanthropic support of Licking Memorial Hospital. The Committee oversees fundraising events and solicits gifts from all sources, including special contributors, such as John Alford Fellowship, The William Schaffner Society and Caduceus Society.

The Community Relations Committee is responsible for supporting the Council’s goal of maintaining a positive community image for Licking Memorial Health Systems. The Committee facilitates the Building a Healthier Community Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award and sponsors several other events.

The Education & Membership Committee is responsible for maintaining an appropriate number of Council members and providing members continuing education through committee meetings and full Development Council meetings.
