In August, Licking Memorial Health Systems (LMHS) purchased the Hartford Fair Reserve Champion Market Steer, which was owned by Craig McMillen, a member of Champions Choice 4-H Club in Granville.  LMHS President & CEO Rob Montagnese donated 400 pounds of beef from the steer to Majors Dan and Misty Simco of The Salvation Army in Newark.  The beef will be used in the Salvation Army soup kitchens and food pantries to benefit community members in need.
