LMHS Receives 2019 Clean Air Award

LMHS Receives 2019 Clean Air Award The National Air Filtration Association has announced its recipients of the 2019 Clean Air Awards.  The Clean Air Award is presented each year to building owners and managers who take steps to improve the quality of their indoor air by increasing the level or efficiency of their HVAC air filtration system in 10 specific categories.  The award is presented by the National Air Filtration Association (NAFA) each year.

NAFA’s Executive Director Michel Czosek acknowledged the award winners, “NAFA’s Clean Air Award program allows our members to showcase the best of the best.  The nominated facilities have all passed a rigorous point system to be eligible for the award and promote the importance of air filtration and maintaining a clean and healthy indoor work environment.”

Candidates are nominated by both NAFA members and facility management community members who must submit detailed and specific steps taken to clean the indoor environment through filtration practices and system hygiene.  A NAFA Certified Air Filter Specialist confirms the improvements, and nominees are judged by the NAFA Clean Air Award Committee.  Each recipient receives a custom-designed award, building signage and recognition for their efforts.
