LMHS has received Advanced Chest Pain Re-certification from DNV.  The certification affirms that an organization’s services meet or exceed standards of care for patients experiencing chest pain and ensure safety and efficiency.  The survey process audited LMHS’ chest pain program in the quality management system, program management, staffing management, infection prevention and control, service delivery, and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.  DNV is a global independent certification, assurance, and risk management provider, operating in more than 100 countries.  Through its broad experience and deep expertise, DNV advances safety and sustainable performance, sets industry benchmarks, and drives innovative solutions.

LMHS takes great pride in providing excellent cardiovascular services to the community and specializes in providing timely lifesaving techniques and the latest technology for patients with the risk of cardiovascular disease.  LMHS has formed an outstanding relationship with the local emergency medical services (EMS) for rapid, exceptional care prior to reaching the Hospital.  The equipment and software allow medics to deliver an electrocardiogram (EKG) to the Emergency Department (ED) before the patient arrives.  From the moment that patients enter the ED, through the entire recovery process, and outpatient follow up care, the coordinated efforts drive the exceptional patient outcomes that LMHS staff members strive to achieve.
