The LMH Pain Management Clinic offers a patient-centered practice of progressive pain management procedures performed by an anesthesiologist. LMH Pain Management Clinic physicians are experts in treating pain, and they can also help diagnose the source of pain. Treatments are tailored to each patient and can include a single approach or combination of medications, therapies and injection procedures. PCPs and referring physicians will be informed of progress and the type of treatments received in the clinic.

Spinal stenosis
Spinal headache
Facet arthropathy
Spondylolisthesis
Spondylosis
Post herpetic neuralgia
Herpes zoster
Reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD), now called complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS)

Medications – Medications are carefully managed and strictly controlled, and are usually short-term and supplementary.

Physician(s)

Abhay J. Anand, M.D., received his bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery degrees at SRTR Medical College in Maharashtra, India. He completed a residency in transitional medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a residency in anesthesiology at Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals, Inc. (MCWAH) in Milwaukee. He also completed a fellowship in pain management at MCWAH. Dr. Anand is board certified in anesthesiology and pain management.

Irina S. Petty, PA-C, joined Licking Memorial Pain Clinic in February 2018. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Ohio State University in Columbus. She received a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Kettering College in Kettering, Ohio. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Service Information

All patients require a referral from their PCP or other specialist in order to be seen, once referred you will be notified by the Pain Management Clinic of your appointment.
